This poster was super fun to design. I did start by torching some paper. Then I scanned in the elements and started to create the feel that a fire had recently ripped through the image. I was going through a major blue and orange phase which is a pretty good color combination. I was really only partial into experimenting with this level of texture at that point as you can tell. But still it turned out decent, it does look much better in print. I also designed a “Fire Starter Pack” that went with it. It was a custom mailer box with this re-purposed look that included a Bible, matches, and some other material that I designed. I hard the event went well. If I recall correctly they printed 10,000.

I made this order form for at my old business to help with organizing job details at trade shows. I found the user interface and visual elements really helped me get a better idea of what the client was looking for.
Here’s a site I designed (developed by Dan Nixon and Matt Mayers) that is super bad-ass. One of the really interesting features is the header. It is designed to change as per the time of day (right now looks especially cool cause it’s dark). It also will change to show the weather, yes - rain snow sleet and hail. Okay, maybe not sleet and hail exactly but rain, snow and sun for sure. The header also incorporates a rotating billboard with a picture of the day. Matt and Dan rigged up a super cool app that attaches photo’s geocode and places them on a map so one can see where the photos were shot, pure awesomeness.
